Frequently asked questions

What can I edit in an SVG?

You can select any element (paths, shapes, text, groups), drag to reposition, change fill and stroke colors, adjust stroke width and opacity, group/ungroup elements, and reorder layers.

Is this SVG editor free?

Yes, 100% free. No signup, no watermark, no limits. All editing happens in your browser.

Are my SVG files uploaded?

No. Everything runs locally in your browser. Your SVG files never leave your device.

Can I edit SVG paths?

You can select, move, recolor, and adjust opacity of paths. Point-by-point path editing (bezier handles) is not supported — use Figma or Inkscape for that.

Can I add new elements?

Currently you can duplicate existing elements. Adding new shapes from scratch is planned for a future update.

Does it preserve SVG structure?

Yes. The editor modifies attributes on existing elements without changing the SVG structure. IDs, classes, and other attributes are preserved.

What browsers are supported?

Any modern browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
